Atago is without question the Workhorse of the Kanto Defense Fleet. This combination is very dangerous and lethal and was able to perform very well (but not without casulties) during the war with Vaaygaari.Īside from high speed, great protection, ship is well armed and capable to go in close combat even with larger Vaaygaari ships. Atago usually work in smaller wolfpacks together with Isuzu light cruisers and Akizuki destroyers.
